There's a subtle hammered texture on the swirl and on ring band. Approx 2mm wire thickness which is quite chunky but very comfortable to wear. 
Due to its clever design there’s a hidden opening on the bottom allowing it to fit over thicker knuckles or giving you the flexibility to wear on a range of fingers and would make a good thumb ring.
